What People's Say About Place

This is a straight forward place serving solid Tampa style Cubans complete with the thin slice of salame plus additional Tampa style offerings like their deviled crab croquettas and Cuban bean soup. Efficient and friendly staff. I can see why this is a regular stop for locals.

Ole Tampa Cubans is an absolute gem in Mulberry. I ordered the medium Traditional Cuban and it was perfectly pressed, with crispy Cuban bread, tender roast pork, and just the right hit of mustard and pickles in every bite. The sandwich was generously sized for the price and came out hot and fresh, making it a super satisfying lunch. The staff was friendly and quick, and the laid‑back outdoor setting in the converted old gas station gives the place a fun, local vibe. If you’re anywhere near Mulberry and craving a real Tampa‑style Cuban, this spot is a must‑try.

After being disappointed by the disgusting option of "heated up" Cuban sandwiches out of a cooler elsewhere, I stopped here and was incredibly surprised. I ordered a traditional Cuban sandwich and a side of "Shipwreck Fries". Everything was delicious and tasted freshly made. Everything came out very quickly, too. The only thing that would have made this better is if they weren't sold out of guava pastries. I can't fault them for being sold out though. It leaves something to look forward to. I highly recommend everyone to stop by and taste the incredible food. Not in the mood for Cuban sandwiches? They have other options, too! Be sure to check them out and go back to try everything on the menu. I know I will!

I just happened to be in the area and noticed this "hole in the wall" which is right up my alley. I was greeted by a wonderful cashier who made some good recommendations for the Cuban/crab combo. The food was phenomenal and I look forward to coming back.

Amazing hidden gem in Mulberry. We don't know what was better, the cubans, deviled crab, and black beans n rice or the service!! A must do in Mulberry!

Very good food. If you can't make it to Ybor, this is the place to go. Only on issue, but it doesn't change the quality of the meal. They wrap the Cubans when they press them. It makes it not as messy, with the toasted Cuban bread, but my Fiance', a Cubano, born in Ybor City 65 years ago, wants his bread to "go off like a hand grenade" of crumbs when toasted. Their's is toasted but not as crispy. Also the devil crabs, are good, but we like them a little dryer on the inside. But they do an excellent job! Their Spanish Bean soup was delicious. I can't wait to try their Black Bean Soup and the Papas Rellenas(Potato Ball)! I will keep going there for sure and I can't wait until they open in Plant City, the Strawberry Hut, Norma's and a few more are going to have a serious run for their money, I have tried them all, and this Restaurant is % better!

Came here for lunch with 2 friends. I got the devil crab and 1/2 Cuban sandwich combo. That was my first time having a devil crab...didn't taste like anything...wasnt bad but not impressed. Great Cuban sandwich though. Fantastic. We all agreed. Outdoor seating only. Very casual, hole-in-the wall type place. Staff is friendly. My only recommendation is that they should sell water...which they don't.

The food was excellent. You have to try the traditional Cuban
